Solve : Power outage: fan runs, nothing else? |

Answer» My son and a computer-savvy pal switched a COMPAQ PRESARIO 8000 to a Scorpio case. But in powering up, the only thing that happens is the fans running for a few SECONDS, then shutting down. A test with the old power supply yields the same thing, so it doesn't appear to be the supply itself. Any THOUGHTS?Have your son check all CABLE connections and make certain hardware is properly seated. |
