I APOLOGIZE if this isn't the correct forum for my question but here goes...Do I need to have a URL in order to post to blogs? I found one blog of great interest to me but when I began filling out the registration form I STOPPED when asked to provide a URL. I don't have one. I SIMPLY wanted to post a few comments. I'm a novice when it comes to blogging and would greatly appreciate any tips and advice ANYONE might care to offer. What exactly does one need to do to post to a blog? :-?

As you are meaning to say "posting to blog",
it can be done in 2 ways.

Either post CONTENT to your own blog.
or
Post comment to another blog.

And in both cases, you need to have a blog ( i.e. your own URL to a blog).

to post content in your blog...create a blog (by registering to the blog service), then login and post your content to the blog.

If you want to post comment to another blog, click on comment link on that blog,
and then it will ask you to login to your own blog member area so that it can
track from which blog you are posting that comment.

So you see, you need to have your own blog in both cases.
