I had my computer running for a while and went out for a bit. Came back and the blue screen of death was up. Said something about dumping all my physical memory. I restarted my computer and it sounded LIKE something was broken INSIDE (a clicking noise around the front bottom part of my tower). Also, my computer doesn't really boot up now and it says my hard drive isn't installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
JimIt sounds like your harddrive went out. Try your harddrive diagnostics cd if you have one or get one from here.
8-)fffreakif not for the noise i'd have said it was RAM... it could still be RAM because of 'physical dump' screen. HOWEVER because of the noise i'd have to SAY the disk died and a windoze files corrupted.My Hard Drive broke and I ordered a new one. EVERYTHING is good for now. Thanks for the suggestions.
