Solve : Possible Dead Sandisk Player?

Answer»

I was mowing the lawn at the transmitter site for my dad, just cause he can make me do it so I threw my pants down near the washing machine after I thought I emptyed them. It turned out that I LEFT my player in the ONE pocket an my mom put it in the wash. I took it out an it was filled with water, I opened it up so that it would dry out. It isnt turing on. Its a SANDISK sansa m240 1 gb player. How do I know for sure an I got this as a replacement from the COMPANY. I only let it dry over night with the whole thing open with fans running on it.If it doesn't work, its dead. If it does work, it isn't.
It that second one the pc can see it but I can turn it on when it disconnected. The water has obviously screwed up whatever powers it when it's not connected to the PC. Plan on buying a new one.Put it in the pocket of a dry pair of pants and RUN a normal dryer cycle.
This worked for me exactly one time however at this point you have absolutely nothing to lose......Quote from: patio on April 27, 2008, 10:17:30 AM
