When I start up my pc before I connect to anything I get stuff that I cant seen to get rid of? How do I get rid of it?

  One example is the following [.ShellClassInfo]

  The upper bar says desktop-notepad

  So I want to know howto get rid of this and other things0-thanks

we still need more info though- Windows Version?I have windows XPalright then, what(if anything) do you have in your startup folder? These are all in a folder titled Acrobat.com. There are 3 closed FOLDERS one is called META-INF, one called assets and last one named bin-debug. The files are an XLM document named version, one that says mimetype File both of these are 1KB and the last just says Acrobat.com.

I'm not SURE I UNDERSTAND what your TRYING to do. Where is the acrobat.com folder? On the desktop?

What happens when you try to delete it/them?It pops up on the desktop every time I startup.I did not want to delete them if it might cause a problem.

So- is this an explorer window that's appearing, showing a folders contents?Its a folder called Acrobat.com that has the items that I listed in it.

Download a program called "autoruns":

Run it- once it finishes, use File->Save As to save a log.

Attach that log to your NEXT post, and I'll take a look.
