Answer» You should be able to replace that CD Rom with a newer DVD ROM DRIVE for around $20 assuming you have a SATA port AVAILABLE. If you need a IDE TYPE ribbon CABLE type drive then you would probably be looking at buying a used one on amazon or ebay or maybe someone you know has a old computer they no longer need that you can part out and grab and use their CD or DVD ROM from with correct jumper config for CS, MA, or SL |
