I am handling a certain Database in MS ACCESS 97 format when I press a button it shows an error "MSACCESS has caused an error in OLEAUT32.DLL. Msaccess will now close." when i press the close button the entire PROGRAM will eventually close...
i don't know what's going on since i am not the one who build/made this database it is a company database and the PROGRAMMER is not accessible since he already migrated somewhere...
PEOPLE! HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM PLEASE!You might want to consider backing up the database, and reinstalling ACCESS. This is definatly a complicated issue.....
[GLB]Flame[/glb]Where did you get it? If you got it off a disk or something or if you have a backup, try replacing it. One possible solution could be to install a later version of ACCESS, as it may be trying to use advanced features not available in 97, which is years old.

It may add missing files/replace bad ones.
