Solve : Play Audio/Video issues on Windows 8.1? |
|
Answer» Some times out of the blue my play BUTTON on youtube and all other SERVICES (such as spotify) will stop working. I can still click the play button, and the interface reacts to it, but the clips/audio etc. do not progress in time. So it is just a still frame. You could try this but it appears to be a problem with your ISP.This is what your link spits out: We're sorry, but your operating system is not supported by Microsoft Fix it at this time. I am pretty sure my ISP is not to blame in this case, what could it be besides that?Windows 7 and 8 has a feature called Action Center. You can access this by clicking Start, Control Panel, Action Center and click on Maintenance.Any reason you are ruling out your ISP ? ? Try SpeedTest.net for starters...Quote from: patio on April 22, 2014, 01:24:40 PM Any reason you are ruling out your ISP ? ?SpeedTest gives me 60 mbs down and 20 up, and the reason I ruled it out prior to testing it is that only the services that 'play' something are affected by the issues, gaming and everything else works fine. On a side note I think I might've solved the issue. When the error occured again I plugged out my extern audio-interface and reconnected it to a non-USB 3.0 port which seems to have done the trick. Thanks for helping guys!Good to hear you are fixed up...Welcome Aboard ! |
