Solve : Place disclaimer on all outgoing emails?

Answer»

How do I do this? I've researched all the topics I know. Thanks. Depends on the E-mail client you are using.

You will have to write a DISCLAIMER yourself.Writing the disclaimer is not a problem. It's getting it to appear automatically in Outlook on all emails I send. There is a COM add-in that requires only an .exe or .dll file, but when I write my disclaimer in Word, I can save it only as a .doc file. A .doc file is not a choice on the COM add-in selections. I've also tried saving the .doc file as a .pdf and recording it as a macro, but the .pdf won't work. If I record the .doc file as a macro, it places double line spaces where I hit enter at the END of short lines. Plus, I REALLY didn't want to have to remember to run the macro on every email. That's why I wanted it to appear automatically. I think there has to be an easy way and I just haven't found it yet. Thanks again.Try adding it as a signature.

I myself use Mozilla Thunderbird where I can simply load my signature ONTO each E-mail via the account settings. It accepts .txt documents.

Try the following articles:

OLEXP: How to Insert an HTML Signature in Outlook Express Messages
OLEXP: Error Message: Signature File Does Not Exist. Signature Feature Is Disabled
OLEXP: Cannot Add a Signature File in Outlook ExpressThanks Raptor. I'm downloading Thunderbird now.Do NOTE that Thunderbird is an entirely different E-mail client. You will be able to important Outlook (Express) settings, though.

Different as in; Easier, more reliable and more pleasant to use.You need templates.....
