Answer» Sorry if in the WRONG discussion area but I am new. I had photos taken on holiday and placed the SD card in the laptop. It came up saying IMPORT and a small BOX saying DELETE AFTER IMPORT. I ticked this box and Imported them. I went to check them and they are not there and now are not on the SD card either. I am gutted and need help please. I am new to PC so no big words please. Okay, two things. First, do a search on your laptop for any of the file names. They were probably moved to a folder other than where you intended. Second, you can TRY the free VERSION of Recuva to recover the files on your sd card (https://www.piriform.com/recuva/download)Intended is a big WORD.... Thanks for that it worked and recovered 90% of my photos. i am very grateful,, You're most welcome. |
