Solve : PCTV HD Pro Stick? |
|
Answer» I've been trying to hook it up with my CABLE. I have verizon fios. I tried unhooking the coaxial cable from the tv and plugging it into the tuner. But with both windows media center and with pctvs program it says it can't find any channels. I have an extra composite video slot, but there is no where for the stereo audio output to plug into and I don't currently have an s-video cable so I don't know if that would work. Pctvs program seems stuck at saying "initializing tv hardware" no MATTER what settings are on. Am I doing something wrong. I've checked and as far as I can tell the drivers are up to date. So I am completely lost. I bought an S-video cable and hooked it to the cable box and I can now watch shows on my computer BUT, there is no sound. Any ideas?s-video is just video only, you will need separate audio cables for sound.okay i found in the manuel where it says to "3. Connect the stereo audio outputs of your set-top box with the stereo input (3.5mm headphone jack) of the adapter cable." Where would that be on the back of the cable box? I have 2 sets composite jacks, IR receiver input, one marked "RESERVED", digital audio, and optical audio. Here is an link to the manuel, its on page 4 http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/pmc/Poster_PCTV800e_SAP41006731.pdf |
