Answer» My LAPTOP cannot get beyond the Windows opening screen. I have tried many POSSIBLE solutions without success. I've tried safe mode but it still ends up at the Windows opening screen and cannot load windows. I've checked the laptop hard drive on my PC and cannot see any obvious problem Unfortunately my ORIGINAL setup discs were lost in a house move I have exhausted all the obvious routes (F8 F1, enter setup etc) From safe mode I have tried to login as administrator, but the same result comes up; i.e. a continual windows startup screen which FAILS to launch windows All help gratefully receivedbackup computer before you lose everything with the BEST backup software at SPAM Link removed...
