Answer» Assume you took the FLAP off. Other than cosmetic would it matter?Hi all, Well I fitted the DVD drive ok ( from the front ) without breaking anything so all that leaves is the flap problem. As you cant buy a spring and it seems to be a very low priority in repair shops etc I think I will just have to SEE if I can get a spring out of a childs toy or maybe CUT ONE down from something else and take it from there.
