periodically my computer goes balistic,it starts flashing programs,moving things all over the screen or goes white every time i touch a key.can't even access start menu to shut it down,have to just turn the PUTER off the wrong way.any ideas?When was the last time you updated your VIRUS definitions? Have you removed excessive dust from the heatsinks and FANS?Was the HD added immediately before the problem began? Have you virus scanned the added HD?hd was scanned.all fans,etc.cleaned.trouble started about a month later.if it helps any,here about 2 weeks ago my computer crahed,said something about destroyed files. i had to re-install windows and format my fat32.but it didnt fix the other problemCould you fully answer my questions?i did answer your questions! problem started a month after the HD was added and yes i did scan the HD!
