Answer» What I am trying to do is password PROTECT a Files on USB FLASH drive. I have a program that comes with the device that can set a password on the device but requires SOFTWARE on ever computer I want to use the device on to unlock the USB drive. Does any one know of a program that can set a password for a usb key or a folder but not require any software to be INSTALLED to be able to unlock the drive or folder? You could compress the contents to a password protected .ZIP file, then delete the originals. Space would have to be a consideration.
