Answer» My wife wanted Microsoft Word back on after reformating so I put it on. Later when I went to OUTLOOK express to make an email I noticed that it wasn't CORRECTING spelling. The prompt said something to the effect that:
If you didn't have word, (I did), excell etc it would not have the this spell check on it.
This is the first time ever that this happened to me.
It also said that it was missing a file (MSSpell3.dll) and something like (MSSp232.dll for English)
So I gather that Microsoft Word and Outlook Express go hand in hand with this (Spell Check) thing.
So, I uninstalled once and repaired once but not working.
I looked up on Google (MSSpell3.dll) and it was saying on some sights that this .dll could be "malware" REALLY?
One site said it posed no realy threat. So, I am really comfused.
Harry Well, for my #1 reply I guess I had a reply but there was no message but that's ok because I changed from Outlook express to Microsoft Outlook and this program does work with Microsoft Word.
But for anyone here is another issue I have.
Now I have a dial up so some of us know how that goes!! My isp brought me through the set up for dial up and I noticed that most of the time and it does change I have to type in my password two times.
He says that the 98 operating system is like that and I have to just put up with this inconvience. What does everyone say about this.
In fact when I boot up in the morning I get the pass word screen which I bypass by cancelling. I would like to RID myself of that also.
This is a COOL forum does anyone of a 98 se I had it but lost the cd and after reformatting I could not go back to 98se because the DISK is missing. Where do I get another one for free or can I?
