Answer» My Outlook 2003 is performing fine... but the calendar's reminders stop working without any known reason and I no longer receive reminders (warning screen nor sound).
I have RUN Detect & Repair couple of times and also the Repair option in the reinstalling procedure but no solution at all.
Does anybody know how to solve that?HI Carl. Try this first:
Go to Tools->Options->Other->Advanced Options->Reminder Options.
Make SURE Display Reminder is enabled.It's enabled. I hace checked that several times but no way. Sound system is working, just in case.Okay then, try this:
On the Tools menu, CLICK Options. Click the Preferences tab, deselect (uncheck) the Default Reminder check box and then click Apply. Redo the operation by selecting (checking) the same Default Reminder box and click Apply.
Unbelievable! I did what you said, started making trials over the WEEKEND... and IT WORKED!
After reading your instructions first time I could not stop a smile but decided to try and I got the good surprise. I still do not inderstand why this worked that way, but IT WOKS.
Thanks a lot!Glad to hear the problem is solved, Carl. You're quite welcome.
