Solve : Outlook 2000 tries to connect after boot? |

Answer» I have just purchased a new computer and moved all of my FILES, programs, etc. to it. I use the Outlook 2000 program for it's Calendar only. I have it at work and I have it at HOME. The .pst file is on my lan drive at work. I have no problem opening it when I'm logged on to my work VPN connection as I map to the shared drives first. With this new PC, it tries to retrieve my outlook .pst files - usually about 5 minutes after bootup - without my requesting it or even logging on to VPN. How do I get this to stop happening and only CONNECT when I start Outlook MANUALLY. I seem to remember this happening before and there was some type of setting to only use it off-line, but I can't find it. |
