Solve : out the range?

Answer»

When MOVING about on pages on the internet the screen goes black and a message 'attention out the range' is DISPLAYED. I have to restart the computer to continue. What'happening and how can I stop it?Sounds like there might be a problem with your monitor or graphics card. When this happens, do you have another monitor you can TRY? Do you have another graphics card you can try? Also, if you have an automatic screen reposition button, press it to see if it finds the signal and can present it on the screen. (this happens with some of those old computer screens at school)LMFAO! my dads old gateway 2000 17 inch monitor does that, but only if you try to display full screen in 800 X 600, comes up in a blue box in upper case letters "OUT OF SIGNAL RANGE" annoying as *censored*, im glad i have my computer now... the only fix i can think of, is to set your resolution to 1024 X 786... sad that i remember all of these numbers... and did anyone ever notice the fact that 1024 = one gig, one meg, or one kilobite, also 768 is what you get when you put a 512 ram stick with a 256, weird, eh?Dead Reckon its Case there all Binary numbers

See Here This is a byte
128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Its made up of 8 bits

For every Bit it Represents a Value, in 8 bits/1 byte you can count from 0 to 255(a total of 256) buy putting ones in the right places EG
128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1
1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 = 128 + 8 = 136

1024 512 256 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 now notice , i keep doubling and i got 256 512 and 1024, the same numbers that you see over and over again in computers, and that is why there so common, its because the way the computer counts its always an exponent of 2Quote
