Does any one on here use second Life, I heard about it on a tech news site called the register , there was an article about how some one had crashed the servers by making a self replicating object, it was the Gold Ring from SONIC. The idea that it was a 3d world where you could bring in you own creations , and program them to do things, peaked my interest, Given that it is just a really big chat room, its pretty cool

Apparently there was something similar in WoW.whats the website?That would have to be  http://secondlife.com/panboy, did you download and install the Second Life client software?  I did it was a bout 30 Megs, why have i just installed the most viscus mal-ware in the world?Not that I know of.  Just wondering.  I see you can set up an account with the site but to really use it, the Second Life client software must be installed.  Without that, there's apparently not much point in joining, right?yes you need the software to get into the World of second life , but its only a small 30 Meg Download, not so small if your a dial up user
