Answer» Just recently, WHENEVER i would CLICK on an mp3 off the interent....(say like at cduniverse) the page freezes and ends up not responding. This never used to happen and i would go to cduniverse all the time and listen to sample mp3's. I really hope this can be solved because its making me mad, thanks.Hi, I am unfamilier with cduniverse but is it just there that it freezes, have you tried similar and thier [emailprotected] it might be best to contact them to find the cause IanNo, not just here, that's why i said on the internet, meaning sites in general. Whenever i click on a mp3 from any site the window doesn't respond. What are you regularly using for spyware/virus protection? What happened prior to this? Any other computer issues? For spyware i'm using Spy SWEEPER, Ad-Aware SE Personal, and for virus Norton and AVG but the settings on those shouldn't cause the page to freeze. This never happened before and i've had these programs forever. No other issues, thanks
could be a hard drive issue, have yoy tried a disk check, and how much space are you using out of the totalStep 1. Open Windows Media Player Step 2. Right-click on the link to the song and select Proporties Step 3. Copy the URL that is listed next to Address (URL) Step 4. Go into Windows Media Player, and click FILE, then Open URL Step 5. Paste the URL that you just copied in there, and click OK.
The problem that you had was your browser wasnt recognizing the file you were trying to open, so, the browser tried to open it. If you let it sit for about, oh, 3-10 minutes, a bunch of TEXT will appear on the IE window, and your computer would go really slow.Hopefully you're not running Norton and AVG at the same time.
