The program WINDOWS open on my computer are not displayed on my taskbar. Can you tell me why this happens?

It is not the start menu.
The open window's titles don't get displayed on hte taskbar. None of the open applications that i have open are displayed as taskbar buttons.

This problem occured after i restarted my machine encourtering 'Not Rasponding' by the Lotus NotesHave you scanned for viruses and Spyware? Have you been KEEPING up with your Windows Updates?

But not sure when the last windows update was done Can you try running one now by going to http://www.microsoft.com ?

I just RESTORED my computer to its previous state and got back the window title display .
Don't know why the prob creeped up, but i am happy to get rid of Alt+Tab+Tab....
