Not sure if this is Windows 10 or MS Office or some combination issue.

Since a Windows update followed by an Office update 25/1/21 I'm getting:-

ONENOTEM.EXE Application Error, Unable to start correctly 0xc0000142

I did not realise full the significance of thie until a few days later I tried to use MS Word and MS Excel. These go straight to an UPDATING screen, then after a delay with the accessing swirling dots, end as above but with their exe name, eg WINWORD.EXE, Unable to start, etc.

Help please.

I had SEARCHED here and elsewhere but had not hit the right wording combination to get that to appear. Yes, I followed the head post information.

I'm always very wary of reloading MS product, too much experience of screwed up account/validation/etc on their part. Yes, this forced full account validation, complicated by having two versions to the same EMail, but at least this TIME it did work.
