Solve : on-line storage?

Answer»

Even though i have BACKUPS, i was wondering if anyone considers on-line storage a good IDEA as another back up option, and if so, is there anything out there free or minimal cost which is a good choice.

ThanksIt sure can't hurt to have multiple backups, but you will find that your upload speed could be a limiting factor for large file backups. Adrive will hold up to 50GB for free.

I've got a decent, but not great upload speed, and started to upload all my music to Adrive. After several hours of uploading, I gave up and bought another thumb drive.

If my house burns down, I lose all my music on my computer and the thumb drive, where as if it's on Adrive it will still be there. But then, if my house burns down I've got bigger problems than LOSING my music.I never considered online storage as an option...
All my backups are dupes...one on site and the other at a secure storage area.
But that's just me...QUOTE from: patio on August 10, 2010, 04:04:16 PM
