I am going to try to explain this the best I can.......something is seriously wrong with my computer.........lol
when I turn the comp on everything seems to be fine.......but as soon as windows XP starts, a black line ( about 1/2 inch) appears......when I pull up my internet explorer the page is basically split.......below the taskbar is the black space and below the black space is the top line of my internet explorer..............I have tried all the support sites and have not found anyone that has had this problem........I tried pulling the line back up to the top.......which is hard because I have to basically take my cursor up through the top to get to the bottom................confused yet?..............lol   well imagine how I feel....lol....does anyone know how to solve this problem ...desperately need help...Hmmm....Can you perhaps give us a screenshot?I suspect the monitor may be faulty.
It's also possible they are viewing the monitor while hanging upside down, while a monkey holds a CIGAR to create the black line.


Unlikely though.Why does anyone write "lol" at the end of a sentence stating that they have a serious computer problem?

well because this *censored* comp is driving me insane...guess that is why I "LOL"...better than crying...and I am not sure how I could give you a photo of it ....is there a site that I can check my video card...the comp is only 2 yrs old ...do they usually go out that soonalso....everytime a page comes up it is just a small box...I have to maximize it everytime..not really sure if that makes a difference...but just thought I would throw that out there....why don't you do this one STEP at a time before buying a new video card!

Try another Monitor would be the first step.

k so a friend of mine told me I should try to reinstall the video and well I did...now my page is HUGE...good thing the line is now gone...but can only see half my page because it is so big...
