The one single thing you can do to improve the performance would be to up grade to 256 MB of ram. You presently have only 128 MB. You will notice the difference. If you back step to Windows 98 SE you will find some nice programs will not run on Windows 98 SE. Some new programs require the C++ run time library, which does not work on OS earlier Windows XP sp3.
