Answer» My old laptop, Compaq 7800, needs free AV software. Or microsoft security essentials. I use that, and was advised to from this very forum. Works a treat if you know what your doing. And last I remembered trying it, the program always popped up when it was updating. And toss some RAM in there while you're at it...you and your machine will both run better... I'd recommend another 512Meg travel to Crucial.com and run the scanner to ID what type to buy. |
