Answer» Every time I boot the WinXP (pro) pc an old Java installer fires up - GOT instructions from java.com to clean registry, uninstall and REINSTALL offline in a new folder but still no luck. Download Hijack This and run a Scan then check to delete ALL references to Java and delete ALL folders with Java. I haven't tried HijackThis but cleaned the registry using RegSupreme (tried checking MANUALLY for Java references, too). /NiiloBingo! HijackThis did the job. Superb tool.
