can you HELP  I bought an old secondhand computa and it has a user password  which i do not know so am unable to log on i have tried going to safe mode and used admin have got into user accounts but cannot do anything as my mouse will not workWhat kind of computer make/model, laptop/desktop, what operating system, and do you have legal Windows CD's to reinstall if you need to. Is this the BIOS setup, or into Windows itself?I am having the same PROBLEM.  I have had no problems with my used computer then all the sudden it WANTS a password to BRING up Windows XP.  I have tried administrator in Safe Mode and LAST Good Configureation, it still didn't work.  Any help out there?  Since it is used, I do not have the CD to reinstall Windows.And the person you got it from doesn't know?MAy be you take the battery away and reinstall Windows again?Whoops! No WinXP disk. Would have to buy one and go legit.most folk.........format or take the hard drive out.......
