Solve : No printed Instructions ??

Answer»

My computer dealer says that all LAPTOPS as well as all other PCs no longer include a printed user manual to tell you how to set-up your new PC. Is this true? I have never owned a PC and have no idea how to set-up. I know they're trying to save paper but this is ridiculous. I have no PC savvy. All I can do is surf the net at the Apple Store. I need a printed manual. I was told the instructions are included in a CD-ROM but how COULD it help if I can't hook-up. It' a Catch-22 situation. Are new PCs already loaded with Windows? I am unsure of what BURNING a CD is and I understand that netbooks and some laptops don't even play CDs or DVDs.Simply open the Owner's manual on the CD that was provided...it's probably in .PDF format so i suggest DLoading and installing Foxit Reader...FREE.
Then Print it out from there...

And yes i tend to AGREE...it is quite chincy they do this.

Also remember your manual is available online anytime at the manuf. website...You usually get a folded "quick set-up guide" printed on one sheet of GLOSSY paper which gets you hooked up and then you can use the computer and see the fuller guide on the CD-ROM.
