Hi, I'm wondering if anybody can help me. I tried switching on my computer and although it sounds like evrything has started I.e. The fans are going and the lights are switching on, nothing is coming up on the screen! The standby light turns green for a couple of seconds and then changes 2 ORANGE. No picture is visible. Does anybody have any idea what is going on? Please help! Is your screen COMPLETELY BLACK like turned off black or does it shine slightly?Laptop, or desktop?Hi, thanx 4 replying 2 my post. Hey..it's a desktop with a monitor.Check the cables, try another monitor.I've checked the cables best 2 my knowledge i.e. unplugged and replugged them all, made sure there's no dust in the connections. Also plugged it into another monitor and the same problem occurred so still no joy. Any other suugestions please? Since second monitor doesn't work either, your on-board video/video CARD, seems to be busted.
If you have real video card, try to re-seat it.I haven't got a clue what that means! LOL! I thought if it was something quite simple then I could fix it myself but I think it's going to be a job 4 the professionals! Thanx v.much 4 your help and replying, i appreciate it!
