DaveSeems to be a common problem with as many different fixes. Last I heard it was a permissions and registry problem. Try this for even more confusing help: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/1100922941

I can't get the tick to stay in the box that says, "Replace permission entries on all CHILD objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects"
