Solve : no cd rom???? |

Answer» HI I just installed win xp PRO on my pc and the cd rw is gone.Its not even in the boot menu.Iv'e tried going into my computer and detecting it with no luck.I have also gone into the regestry and deleted the appropriate lines associated with removing cd burning software and also tried the microsoft solution.I haven't moved the cd drive or dvd drive around or unplugged them recently NORE have I moved the JUMPERS everything seems to be in ORDER. please help!!!! Does it show up in DEVICE Manager? If so, what error code is associated with it?scroll three-quarters down this webpage>http://aumha.org/regfiles.php for a patch for your reg called cdgone? |
