I have been trying for quite a while to network my laptop and desktop
TOGETHER.  I have run the setup wizard on the desktop and my laptop and still
I get nothing.  When I navigate to My Network Places all i SEE is The
internet connection.  No other computers.  I try to selectview workgroup
computers and still nothing.  Both computers run WinXP.  I have a Westell
2200 DSL modem and a WGR614v5 wireless ROUTER.  
Have you setup a Share on the drive and directory you want to be seen?yes i have tried to share both files and printers but it wont work...it dosent even show that the computers are on a network.  I think i am doing somthing wrong when i set up NETWORKING but i don't know what**UPDATE** I just looked at my desktop and under My Network Places I can see both the desktop and Laptop.  I can access Desktop files as it is the one that I am on but not Laptop files.  Says I do not have PERMISSION.Firewall settings.......check emfirewalls on both computers are setup to allow connections from the ip addresses of the computersSo the set is.......winxp server....laptop the reciever what light are on the wlan router..green/amber////nothing....
