I have installed a share printer with 4 computer in my wrokgroup net work.. but In one mechine that printer is not working properly.. I mean,, everday I NEED to install the share printer on that paricular mechine.. after I install the prinre again then it will work properly.. but next day it wont work..then I ll install again ... this happens for LAST 2 weeks..
so pls any1 give me a handAnswer these questions:

1) Printer brand/ Model.
2) OS of the computer in question and the computer the printer is connected to
3) Have either of the computers been turned off before the problem each time?

all computers are in XP os

thanks 4 ur kind CONSIDERATION..pls tell a solution to SOLVE this probelmOn the computer that is having the problem, when you add the shared printer are you doing so in the Administrator account? (Its been a bit since I've had to do shared printers so I don't remember if the account matters, but better safe than sorry).

Did it just start not working recently, or has it been like that ever since you first shared the printer? If it did just start recently, how long did it go before it started acting up?

Had you made any changes, installed any new software on the computer that is acting up just prior to the problem?
