Answer» i've been asking about adding a PCI card to my tower in this forum so that i can install some IDE drives in it. but my power supply is 300 watts. check out my specs i have listed and if anyone can help me, let me know if i should add a LARGER power supply if i add 2 IDE hard drives and one IDE CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo DRIVE. your thoughts and OPINIONS would be most appreciated. thanks guys.you would have to do a little math... Your NEW power supply will have to meet the power needs of your current, essential components PLUS the power needs of the stuff you are adding...
