Solve : Need some serious help with PC freezing while playing games...?

Answer»

I recently built a gaming pc so that I could play the latest games, etc. It seemed to run my games great until it randomly froze up. I thought it was nothing at first, but it keeps HAPPENING. The screen usually turns black and there's some kind of audio skip noise, forcing me to hold the power button to shut down. I have checked my temps, they seem to be fine, and my hardware is meant for gaming....so what is going wrong?

PC SPECS:
AMD FX 4300
GTX 650 ti Graphics Card
Asus MB
650W Ultra PSU
650GB HDD Western
Windows 8 64 bitHow much RAM are you running and is it a matched PAIR etc? Seen memory issues cause this before when games tap into a section of memory that is troubled. If you havent already done so, I'd run MEMTEST86 on this system. The ISO is FREE online and can be burned to a CD, DVD, or Thumb Drive.

Other than that Windows 8 64-bit is still pretty new and maybe there is a driver issue that has a memory leak or something.I have a pair of 4GB RAM (8GB Total) Ill run that program then report back.nothing came up with that programQuote from: DRyan95 on January 18, 2013, 06:08:09 PM
