Answer» Trying to help my brother and wife fix their computer. They cant get it to work At all. When it loads up it says Windows Xp. Then suddenly it goes to a blue screen that says something like "A problem has been detected and Windows has been SHUT down to prevent damage to the computer. If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen restart error screen. Check to make SURE u have adequate disc space. If a drive is identified in the stop message disable the driver or check with the manafactuar for updates. Try changing video adapters, check with your hardware vendor for any bios, disable vias memory options such as changing or shadowing, if you need to use safe mode to remove or disable opponents use f8 to SELECT advance start up options and then select safe mode" After the error message comes on it goes back to the Windows Xp screen and then back to the error message. It just keeps repeating this. They have tried the safe mode thing. But does not seem to work. They dont know how to do anything else. Need Help PLEASE. Computer Computer Stupid!! Thank you!You've provided everything in the error message except what we need . There is an error number and maybe even the name of a PROBLEMATIC file - please post everything you see in that error message. |
