Answer» Hi - I down loaded Google Chrome and deleted Internet Explorer 11. I do not like Google Chrome but now I can not get Internet Explorer 11 back. Can someone give me some instructions? Thanks for any help. Bob
PS - Can you believe111 I got it back. I don't know what I did but I just kept trying things till some thing worked. BobGood Evening (or whatever time it may be for you)
In order to solve your problem we will need a few more details. what do you mean exactly by this? can't you redownload? or can't you run the installer? or does the installed version not show up?
ShadyYou didn't uninstall IE. Go to START - RUN and type: iexplore.exe (then press ENTER). What happens?Allan - I did as you instructed and my home page appeared. OK more details: This may take some time but I will keep it as short as I can. I get one of these at random times but it is usually when I am looking at my home page. (1) A problem with this webpage caused IE to close and reopen the tab. (2) IE has stopped working. (3) Suddenlink is not responding. Suddenlink connects me to the internet. I concluded that the problem was in the IE. Now if I deleted the IE and got another BROWSER and later I could download a good IE and my problem would be solved. I all ready have Google Chrome in my list of programs so I called it up and from my list of programs I deleted IE. When I downloaded a new IE the download said it was successful. However IE never showed in my list of programs or any place else. I then went to Internet options and set my home page address to what it was days ago. Now I am back where I was. Thanks for your response. Bob SHADY Cat - Notice my response to Allan. Let us WAIT for more infro. Thanks for your time. BobSounds like a connection...travel to speedtest . net to check your connection speed...patio - I ran several SPEEDTESTS and the download was 51.63 while the upload was 4.53. The only connection I saw was grade B. The speed was in agreement with what I am paying for. Does this tell you anything? Thanks BobYes...it means the connection isn't the issue...so that's ruled out.
