A relative stopped by today. He brought his computer a Dell inspiration 6000 Notebook. I cant get this thing to do anything on the internet.

He had it set up on a dial up connection from his home but cant get it to connect to any wireless connections. I have TRIED to get it to connect with little avail.

Under Wireless network connection STATUS it states:

Status: connected
Network :Linksys
Duration: 25 mins
Speed: 54 MBS
Singnal strength: All Bars

It is connected to my set up.


When I click on the internet exployer I get the STANDARD " Page cannot be displayed" white page with black lettering.

The only page it will go to is "http://Https://login.jetnet.aa.comwithabunchof other lettersand B.S.thatidonthavetimetotype" He can login in and do what ever he wants on that website. will not connect to any other site.

Both of my other wireless computers are running on the same connection right now with no problems

When anything is typed into the address bar, it gives a message that internet explorer cannot open the search page. He can ACCESS that one site through his "Favorites" It happens to be the only site in his favoritesAnd is the workgroup name correct on this machine?
