I have a wireless INTERNET connected via USB router to my Desktop. It does not work . However when I connect the same router to my laptop the internet works.
My desktop requirements meet all that is specified on the requirements to host the router. I have downloaded the software for the router and used the same method which made the wireless internet work on my laptop.
Any help would really be appreciated!!! Post more details on the brand/model of your router and computer not able to connect and operating system. What type of DEVICE(USB adapter or WIFI card) do you use to connect the desktop by wireless? This sounds like that particular computers failure to identify the IP address of the router.have you tried using the the search for available networks FUNCTION of the wifi unit installed in that computer? If all else fails your ISP can ASSIST you in setting up the connection.truenorth
