Consecutive Numbers :- Numbers which follow each other in order.

EX :- 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on.

Let the first consecutive number be ( X ), so the second consecutive number will be ( x + 1 ).

According To Question

Difference between square of them is 31, So

=> ( x + 1 )² - ( x )² = 31

Using property ( a + b )² = a² + b² + 2.a.b

=> x² + 1² + 2.x.1 - x² = 31

=> 2X + 1 = 31

=> 2x = 31 - 1

=> 2x = 30

=> x = 30/2

=> x = 15
