Solve : multi photo resizing?

Answer»

Can you resize multiple photos at once, without having to do it to each one individually? Or does any one know of a program that will do it?(preferably freeware )

Thanks,

ViperI think Irfanview might be able to do this? Do you have any programming knowledge? If so you could write a script to do this USING ImageMagick. I think also that The Gimp can be scripted to do such things. If you USE The Gimp (free) you could then google for a module that does batch resizing.I'm not the best programmer in the world, But I am GOING to take two programming classes next year (hopefuly anyway) but for now, I'll look into the pre-made programs. To the Bat Mobile Google!

Thanks,

Viper

P.s. you'll be seeing me in the programming board in the comming futrue Okay, I put a bit more effort into your problem. I'd forgotten that amongst the >XP Powertoys<, there is a batch image resizer. Picassa can also do this (follow the software link in my sig for that one).I have a Fujifilm digital camera. The software that came with it, FinePix Viewer, will do batch resizing. I really was not aware of it until I read your post and then decided to see whether I have any software that has that capability. It was a pleasant surprise to learn this. When I select multiple photos and start the menu SEQUENCE to resize, FinePix Viewer asks me whether I want to modify the original or save to another folder.
