Solve : mouse noise?

Answer»

I have installed a wireless optical mouse and keyboard. I now have bleed-over white noise in my SPEAKERS. When I move the mouse, the noise fluxuates. I have moved things around on my desk, but no luck. This is a MicroInnovations and the only brand I have this problem.Sometimes too much RF interference with too many of these gadgets cause problems. Can you move your speakers further away? Does that help?I have unplugged the speakers and put in the headphones. Problem is still there. The cordless phone base is on the desk also, but it was never a problem before. I moved it ANYWAY, but still no help. I suspect that it is nearer the source, the connection at the USB PORT. Or some kind of conflict, but I cannot find it. I have turned the volume down and it does not effect the regular sounds. Just an irritating noise in the background. It does stop when the computer is working, changing, pulling up windows, etc... but starts again when the item is loaded. Can you CHANGE channels ? ?There is always the possibility that it could be EMI instead of RFI. Do you have a surge SUPPRESSOR with EMI/RFI filtering or an UPS?
