Answer» Hi, I posted a couple days back about NTLDR error, and I have gotten far past that and installed windows and EVERYTHING. But now I face a very "irritating" problem. I had this problem before I installed a new Sound CARD, Video Card, and Hard Drive. Now here is the problem:
The computer boots up all the way to Desktop just fine. But...basically every game I have installed and most programs do not work. My machine is way capable of running these games and programs. Anyways, take for instance Battlfield 2, I will try to start the game and BOOM....back to desktop before getting into it. Also the original Battlefield 1942 does the same thing but with an error sound, but no error message. It does this with a ton of programs and most of the games/programs won't even install.
I have reason to think that this is a problem with my motherboard. As most of the hardware in my computer is new (sound card, video card, hard drive). LIKE I SAID earlier, I had this problem with my old hard drive, video card, and when onboard sound was enabled. PLEASE any help at all would help at all.
