Answer» I recently was able to TRACK the # for my HOTMAIL ERROR. The message SAYS "Error # 12037 connecting to www.pastport.net: The date in the certificate is INVALID or has expired. One of the reasons it gave for this was that I may not have used my hotmail in over a year thus it would expire. I hardly doubt that since hotmail is about all I do use and I check it several times a day. I hope this is of some help.
