Is there a way to monitor Microsoft Outlook's outbox in order to detect if a certain threshold of emails waiting to go out is breeched? Thank you.Can't you just look? You may well be able to do this with VBA, but could you please explain a bit more about what you're TRYING to accomplish? Are you on broadband? Are you GENERATING mass mailings? WHy should there be any problems with emails accumulating in the Outbox? Do they get there without your knowledge or action?We use a product to send out automatic NOTIFICATIONS. A lot of these involve emails to email ADDRESSES, emails to cell phones, etc. and it is critical that these go out in a timely manner. We just want a way to monitor the outbox so if a pre-determined amount of emails are in the outbox, it may indicate a problem such as getting to the SMTP server. Could you tell us a bit more about this product? Why does it piggyback onto Outlook? Can it send direct?
