Solve : Monitor keeps saying 'No input'?

Answer»

I built this comp using the FOXCONN 945GZ7MC mobo and put an Nvidia 7300GT into it. The *censored* thing will not recognize my monitor.

I start up and the monitor is just blank. 'No input'

The board comes with an 8-pin power connector, but I didn't have an 8-pin so I took two power connectors(6 and a 4 pin) and plugged them both into the slot, leaving two power PINS off of it. The computer started up fine.

Why am I having this problem?

This happened with the last one that Newegg sent me! I sent it in because I thought it was DOA and they gave me a replacement. Now I still have the same problem. I already tested with another monitor. What the heck is wrong with it? Quote

I'm not exactly sure what you have done here...i've seen 20 and 24 pin power leads but i'm unfamiliar with an 8 pin...
Have you tried another monitor ? ?

I suspect your custom wiring might have damaged a component.I have the 24 pin connector connected, and then there is an 8pin 12V AC ADAPTOR a little past the processor. It won't turn on without it.Well i can't see it from here it's kinda OVERCAST today...can you post a screenshot ? ?

What make and rating is this PSU ? ?
