|
Answer» REVISED POST: After careful consideration, I have decided that I do not want to find this out. Because I already KNOW the answer. NEW POST: Is it bad to mix RAM types and speeds?Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but if it does it will run at the speed of the slowest RAM present. There is more to compatibility between chips and motherboards than speed. Quote Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but if it does it will run at the speed of the slowest RAM present. What if you have 256mb RAM, then want to upgrade (adding new)1pc. 512 MB ram? is it will follow to 256mb? :-? infoseeker :-? Thanks GX1! EDIT: I believe I read your post wrong, Infoseeker.
