Answer» I do not have microsoft office. I need to open an email but the problem is, it is a micrsoft office document. Is there a way I can open it or CONVERT it to microsoft works (which is what I have)? PLEASE HELP!!!!Is it a Word document? If so, I know of two freeware options that will read Word documents. OpenOffice.org is a full office suite, so it could be used to open Word, Excel, Access, etc., files. For a much smaller download for a word processor, you could try ABIWORD. If you just need to view the email attachment, not edit it, you could download and install a free Word Viewer from Microsoft. Or WORDPAD...included in Windows.
